2019年9月16日，江西吉安井冈山市茅坪乡坝上村，村民带领游客参观。坝上村是“十三五”省定贫困村，也是一个知名的红军村。当地挖掘红色历史资源，大力发展红色旅游，助推精准脱贫。

2018年7月21日，黑龙江佳木斯抚远市黑瞎子岛，选手们参加“2018徒步中国·全国徒步大会黑瞎子岛站”活动。当地在保持原始自然生态的同时，发展生态旅游，带动脱贫致富。当年8月，抚远市脱贫摘帽。
