2013年7月14日，青海省玉树藏族自治州玉树市下拉秀乡曲新村小学，当电灯亮起的瞬间，孩子们开心地跳起舞来。电力工人经过10多天的努力，该校终于告别了无电时代。玉树州由于地处高原，交通不便，经济欠发达，很多地方没有电，严重影响了孩子们的学习。2012年，萧山供电局向社会发起了“点亮玉树”光明行活动，并得到了浙江电力公司的支持。3年时间里，共有10多所学校通了电，玉树终于实现了校校有电。
