2013年4月24日，海南省琼中黎族苗族自治县，该县女子足球队在训练。琼中女足，这支诞生于国家级贫困县的业余女子足球队，曾三度夺得有小世界杯之称的“哥德堡杯”世界青少年足球锦标赛冠军。2019年4月27日，琼中县宣布退出贫困县序列。
The women's football team in Qiongzhong Li and Miao Autonomous County, Hainan Province, train on Apr. 24, 2013. The amateur team won three championships in the World Youth Gothia Cup. The county got rid of poverty in 2019.

2019年11月15日，广西壮族自治区南宁市马山县马山电白小学，学生们在运动场上开展体育活动。该小学是粤桂扶贫协作重点项目，短短10个月就完成了从建设到招生的过程。目前，该校拥有27个班级，1336名学生，其中贫困学生906名，有效地保障了易地搬迁户子女及进城务工人员子女接受义务教育的需求。
