2017年7月23日，河南省洛阳市栾川县庙子镇黄柏村，村民排队正在等待体检。栾川县实施精准扶贫，购置体检车，专门为全县农村行动不便的老人上门免费体检，并建立健康档案。该县还为建档立卡贫困户购买了健康保险，除享受全省医疗保险，大病治疗还可享受额外的医疗报销，有效避免群众因病致贫或因病返贫。

2018年8月29日，新疆维吾尔自治区和田地区皮山县职业学校，当地居民排队等待安徽关爱眼健康援疆医疗队看诊。皮山县医疗资源匮乏，很多人一生从未做过眼健康检查。援疆医疗队为该县1631名居民进行了眼健康义诊，为172名近视患者免费验配眼镜，还为7名贫困眼疾患者提供了免费手术治疗。
